Part 2 of my Caribbean honeymoon destinations blog series takes us a little further south to the islands of St. Lucia, Barbados, and Aruba.
Saint Lucia; this tropical oasis will not disappoint you. It is an experience that will feed your soul with the essence gathered from the earth, the sea and the island’s welcoming people. There are so many things to do on a honeymoon in this idyllic tropical setting; whether you want hiking, mountain-biking, zip-lining, exhilarating ATV rides in atv trails or horseback riding, your thirst for adventure will be satisfied.
There is so much to do, and so many treasures to uncover in Barbados. Soak up the warmth of this beautiful island. Have your pick of surf and turf activities; from calm escapades to daredevil delights. With an average daily temperature of 78F, an average daily rainfall of less than 1/4 inch and 3000 hours of annual sunshine, it’s hard to imagine a place that enjoys weather any more perfect than Barbados.
If you are planning to honeymoon anytime from May through November, Aruba should be at the top of you wish list. Located outside the fringes of the hurricane belt, Aruba enjoys more sunny days than any other Caribbean island. Soak up the sun on one of the Caribbean’s most beautiful beaches, take an adventurous jeep tour of Aruba’s rugged coastline, or enjoy exciting water sports like snorkeling or kite-surfing. All of that and more is available on the One Happy Island!
Soar through the air in a rain forest, test your skills at whitewater rafting, or rappel down a waterfall. Maybe take a cruise among crocodiles. Are you up to the challenge? 
Costa Rica has some of the most amazing beaches and resorts that will meet any traveler’s needs. I recommend spending at least a few days in the Arenal Volcano area to experience the natural thermal springs in the heart of the rain forest. The Manuel Antonio Nature Reserve should also be on the list of places to explore.
