Many of our couples have had to delay their travel plans, but are dreaming of the future. A Symbolic or Legal Destination Wedding?

Planning a destination wedding has some challenges. The biggest question you need to consider; do you want a symbolic or legal destination wedding ceremony.

Legal Ceremonies

In countries where Spanish is the primary language, there is an additional cost for the translation of all required documents if they are in English

There is a separate fee for the marriage license that varies by country

Certain destinations may require a blood test

The fee for the officiant or Minister is additional

You will have to record your wedding with the appropriate government office where you live when you return home

Symbolic Ceremony

The only additional cost to have a symbolic ceremony performed is the fee for the officiant

Our destination wedding couples have their legal ceremony performed at home

Most resort wedding packages only include 25-30 guests (including the wedding couple). For each additional guest, you will have to pay an additional cost.

If you want to use wedding pros that are not ‘preferred’ vendors for your chosen resort, you will be required to pay an offsite vendor fee. The offsite vendor fees can range anywhere from $500 to $1,500.

This past summer we took a trip to Jamaica to experience & visit Couples Tower Isle. Once the playground of Hollywood’s rich & famous back in the 1950’s; take a step back in time & experience this adults only all inclusive resort.

Choose from 6 restaurants that offer international and local cuisine. The food at Couples Tower Isle is very good, you will not be disappointed. If you just want to relax at the beach, the soft sand is waiting. The room category we stayed in was a deluxe ocean which was extremely comfortable and the decor a throwback to the 1950’s island vibe. This room category does not have a bathtub, just a shower but you won’t care because of the amazing ocean views. We took a tour of the resort and the junior suite ocean view is very island chic. This suite category has a bathroom with a shower, tub & double vanity. There are a total of 10 room categories to choose from, we will help you choose the one that is right for you.
